Born and raised in Alaska, Dr. Heather Equevilley brings a warm, wellness-centered approach to dentistry that focuses on the connection between oral health and overall health. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Alaska Anchorage before receiving her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Utah School of Dentistry.
Dr. Heather values building genuine relationships with her patients and creating an environment where people feel comfortable, informed, and truly heard.
She believes dentistry should be collaborative, educational, and rooted in trust, with an emphasis on prevention and whole-body wellness. Her passion for holistic and functional health continues to influence her approach to patient care and lifelong learning.
As a wife and mother of two, her perspective on health and wellness deepened after starting a family, inspiring a more intentional approach to both life and dentistry.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring Alaska through fly fishing, kayaking, hiking, snow machining, hockey, and outdoor adventures.
